Teaching is not just a job it is continuous learning experience. Since I arrived in Greece in 2008, my passion for the Chinese language and culture of China has become a bridge between two worlds. I have taught hundreds of students of all levels, from beginners to advanced, preparing them for all kinds of degrees and for a meaningful contact with Chinese culture.
Every lesson is a small journey, and every student is a new opportunity for me to learn something new.
Μy Profile
I am an enthusiastic and devoted foreign language teacher with over 16 years’ experience, and I have excellent customer-facing, technical and interpersonal skills. I am focused on excellence and have a keen eye for detail. I am motivated to succeed in everything I do and am a responsible and reliable professional with a proven track record of working effectively as a freelancer and as part of an organisation. I am a hard worker with excellent communication skills, a sharp mind and the ability to learn quickly and adapt readily to any situation. I have strong knowledge of quality assurance and marketing development skills, and I have working experience as an Asian language lead in a German localisation and translation company located in Thessaloniki, where I managed suppliers who provided translation services in various countries and participated in international localisation and translation projects.
As a freelancer, I have been teaching Chinese in Greece since 2008, with over 16 years of experience in private lessons, group classes and corporate training.
I have prepared dozens of students for the HSK1–HSK6 exams and have collaborated with businesses and organisations, such as the Thessaloniki International Fair and the Thessaloniki Tourism Organization. I acknowledge the differences between cultures and help to bridge that gap.
